Cased 1939 Clasp to the 1914 Iron Cross First Class by Deumer

The clasp retains much of its original silvered finish with minor toning and wear to its high points, such as the upper edges of the eagle wings and its talons. Both the “1939” numbers and the swastika retain a mirror like finish. In tombac, unmarked but exhibiting the manufacturing characteristics of maker W. Deumer.  The design of the bar is present on the lid of the case which shows minor wear only, but the silk hinge cover exhibits some tears.
