German Army Single Sided Engraved Dress Bayonet by Eickhorn

The bayonet blade bears the etched “In Memory of my Service Time” dedication with oak leaves and flanked by army closed winged eagles. The blade is quite bright and in near mint condition, with some very minor speckling and surface dirt. The Eickhorn squirrel trademark appears on the reverse ricasso beneath the original leather washer. The black Bakelite grips are without chips or cracks. The pommel and guard show minor scratches and some speckling by are without loss of plating. The black scabbard paint is approximately 85% intact. The black leather frog shows age and crazing, with some flaking of the leather on the reverse of the frog.
