Luftwaffe Double Decal M35 Combat Helmet

The M35 helmet is marked “Q66”, indicating a size 66 helmet shell manufactured by the Quist firm. The exterior blue gray Luftwaffe paint is approximately 70% intact, with most of the wear being on the exterior dome of the helmet. The top of the exterior dome has some surface rust and two spots of what appear to be dried tar. The rear of the helmet has a few scattered spots of white paint. The Luftwaffe eagle decal is approximately 90% intact. The national colors shield decal is also approximately 90% intact. The liner is present in the helmet. The liner shows significant wear and use and is lacking the drawstring, but the liner is complete and intact, with the leather remaining supple. The chin strap is partially present, with the full right side of the strap being present and “LBA” marked,  but with the left side chin strap, which holds the buckle, being missing.
