Vietnam War Era Rear Seam Swivel Bale M1 Combat Helmet with Painted Medic Insignia

The helmet is a rear seam, swivel bale, M1 combat helmet of the Vietnam War period. There are two very slight indentations in the dome. The exterior, sawdust infused, olive drab paint is approximately 95% intact, with some spots of rust. The painted medical insignia is essentially 95% intact, with some rust spots showing through the insignia. The liner is a Westinghouse example, which shows wear, sweatband is dated 1973. The full chin strap is present, with some rust on the buckle.
