Personal Good Luck Flag Signed by General Nishio

The silk flag is approximately 26 by 31 inches in size. It bears the declaration of “eternal Good fortune on the Battlefield as well as the signature of General Nishio. General Nishio was considered to be one of the Imperial Japanese Army’s most successful and ablest strategists during the Second Sino-Japanese War, commanded the Japanese Second Army during the first years after the Marco Polo Bridge Incident. The flag has typical spots and stains but it is free of tears or holes and is in overall very good condition.
