101st Airborne Officer Uniform Tunic Size 37 Short

World War II U.S. Army officer’s uniform jacket of a Captain in the 101st Airborne Division. The left shoulder displays the division patch while the lower left sleeve carries three bullion overseas stripes. The interior size tag has a stated size of 37 Short. The “U.S.” and crossed infantry rifles officer lapel insignia are all clutch back, as are the ribbon bar, paratrooper badge, and the Combat Infantry Badge, with the rifles insignia using Phinney clutches. The Captain’s rank insignia are pin back and sterling. The Combat Infantry Badge and the paratrooper jump wings are also sterling silver. The jacket is in very good condition. The belt of the jacket is no longer present.
