The large, heavy second pattern Kriegsmarine War Badge for service on the fast attack boats known as “S-Boats”. The badge is the zinc “flatback” style with the traits and characteristics indicating manufacture by the firm of Alois Rettenmaier. The gilt finish to the wreath has faded as is typical for the later Kriegsmarine badges.
