Rare Named Naval Landing Force Officer Uniform

The very scarce 3 button front olive green wool uniform jacket, with cotton uniform shirt and olive green wool Navy officer trousers, of an officer of the Imperial Japanese Naval Landing Forces. The tunic has a large Navy issue label sewn inside which is named to “Reserve Naval Officer Yokoi”. The lapels carry the rank insignia of an Ensign. The tunic has several period repairs on the lower left sleeve and a small period repair on the upper right rear shoulder. The tunic is in very good condition, and the olive green cotton officer’s shirt is in excellent condition. The trousers are officer quality Navy issue in olive green wool with button fly and button closures on the lower legs. The interior has the large Navy issue stamp. The trousers have some scattered moth holes on the front and some spots from use.
