Army Air Service Model 1917 Camouflage Combat Helmet

A Model 1917 combat helmet with the Army Air Service cockade painted on the front. The helmet is painted in a colorful camouflage scheme with a black area on the top; a black and yellow area on the front; a black and red area on the back; and black and blue areas on each side, with the areas of color being bordered with a black line. The liner is present, as is the chin strap. Both the liner and chin strap show age and use but they are complete and intact. Overall the helmet is in very good used condition with an excellent and impressive appearance.
