Imperial Russian Enlisted Ranks White Top Cap

An enlisted ranks cap of the Imperial Russian era, circa World War I, with a white linen top and a red wool cap band, with an off-white lining of polished cotton. The exterior of the cap has the expected spots and stains from use. The interior leather sweatband is complete. The front of the cap displays the Imperial Russian cockade. The cap is a bit out of shape from storage but still displays very well. The interior lining has writing in Russian and includes what is likely the name of the original owner, “Konev, B.”
