Group Hochland SA School Kepi

An uncommon soft top SA kepi in the distinctive olive brown wool that was worn by the students and staff at SA schools. This example has a light blue side panel with blue enamel grommets as worn by SA Group Hochland where there was, in fact, an SA school. There is some surface soling to the blue wool material, and one prong is missing from the back of the metal political eagle on the front of the cap. The interior shows use, and the original owner’s name is still visible, written in ink, on the lining of the cap.
