CDV of Thomas Francis Meagher (1823-1867), known for his recruitment of the Irish Brigade, the “Fighting 69th Regiment”. He fought at Fair Oaks, Gaines’ Mills, Antietam (“Bloody Lane”), Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville. “Earles’ Galleries & Looking Glass Ware Rooms 816 Chestnut Street Philadelphia” back mark.
