German Army Overseas Cap from Captured Slovak Stocks

An example of a German Army enlisted ranks overseas cap that was issued from the stocks of captured Slovakian Army caps captured by the Heer. Field gray wool with the machine woven Third Reich army eagle and cockade “T” insignia hand sewn to the front. The cap has a few small moth holes and some moth tracking. The olive green cotton lining has the original Slovak issue stamp inside.
