WWI Army Air Service Aerial Photographer Wing

A sterling silver an enamel wing, 1 3/4 inches wide, with an enamel aerial camera mounted on silver wings. The wing was given to graduates of the U. S. Army School of Aerial Photography, operated by Eastman Kodak, at Langley Field, Virgina in 1918. Pin back, with drop in safety catch. The wing is marked “Ster” for sterling silver, and “BBCo”, reflecting manufacture by the firm of Bastian Brothers. Excellent condition.
