Rare WWII Chinese Commando Wing Id to OSS Veteran

This is a rare example of World War II Chinese Commando wing as issued to OSS (Office of Strategic Services) operators in the China-Burma-India theater. The wing is somewhat flat with some two-dimensional ridges in the feathers and a parachute at its center. It measures 3″, horizontal safety – style pin on the reverse. This wing was originally acquired from the OSS veteran, Francis Van Timmeren by noted authority Les Hughes, and a letter of provenance accompanies the wing.
