WWI 2nd Div 12th Field Artillery Painted M1917 Helmet

The front of the Model 1917 combat helmet has the painted insignia of the 2nd Battalion 12th Field Artillery Regiment. The exterior combat paint is approximately 80% intact, while the 2nd Division insignia is nearly 100% complete. The liner and chin strap are both present, although the chin strap is separated from the bale on one side where the leather loop that held the strap to the bale has torn.
