Imperial German 11th (1st Kurhessian) Field Artillery Regiment Reservist Stein

The 1/2 liter stein has a overall height of approximately 12 1/2 inches. The stein displays a central image of the regimental shoulder board which is flanked and surmounted by scenes of soldiers of the field artillery regiment in camp and in combat, as well as galloping across the stein with caisson following behind. The lid features a mounted soldier finial, while the base incorporates a farewell scene lithopane. The stein is named to a soldier who served in the regiment from 1906 to 1909. Overall the stein is in excellent condition, without cracks or chips.
