WWI 1916 Dated Imperial German Jaeger Zu Pferde Pickelhaube by C.E. Junker

The enlisted ranks pickelhaube is in overall excellent condition. The blued steel finish is largely intact, and the helmet is without any significant dents or abrasions. The spike is removable, with some light surface rust on the spike base. The leather chin strap is in place, and the helmet carries the large cockades that were used on the Jaeger Zu Pferde helmet, one being the national colors cockade and the other being the Prussian colors cockade. The leather liner is complete and intact, though lacking the drawstring. The interior of the helmet dome is manufacturer marked by the firm of C.E. Junker and dated 1916. Overall excellent condition showing light service use.
