WWI Model 1917 Imperial German Baden Infantry Officer Field Gray Visor Cap

The cap is constructed of field gray wool with a field gray cap band and piping. The front peak carries an officer quality national colors cockade, while the cap and displays a Baden officer cockade. The leather chin strap is in place across the visor.  The interior leather sweatband is complete but the stitching is gone in some spots. The surface of the visor has some typical age crazing. The interior has a oil cloth lining that bears a manufacturer name and logo. The wool body and cap band have a few small moth holes, but none of them are particularly distracting. Overall very good condition.
