Large WWII Japanese Admiral’s Ship Flag

Design used by Japanese full Admiral’s from 1897 to 1945. Only 33 full Admiral’s in the Japanese navy from 1930-1945. This multi – pieced wool ships flag measures 63″ X 104″ and has a heavy braided rope stitched into the canvas heading. The heading exhibits Kanji which reads “Admiral’s Flag”. The flag shows areas of light soiling and exhibits scattered holes – but nothing particularly distracting.
