Japanese Army First Battalion Flag
$875.00
The flag used to designate the position on the field of the first battalion. The flag would have been positioned on a staff through a sleeve on the hoist edge and the staff in turn secured to a rifle. Printed silk construction, approximately 18 by 20 inches in size, with reinforced leather corners. The flag has the “checkerboard” stitching pattern that is found on many significant Japanese flags. The flag has some spots from field use but remains complete and intact.
