Imperial German Colonial / Naval Troops Belt and Buckle

This was the standard belt and buckle worn by German other ranks in the Schutztruppe, Seebataillone and Navy. The buckle is made from two metal pieces: a brass back plate and a nickel front plate bearing the Imperial crown and the motto “GOTT MIT UNS”. The brown leather belt is in very good condition showing minor wear only and retains its brass keeper.
