Unit Marked Western Front Army Infantry Belt and Buckle

A full length leather belt with a steel Imperial German “Gott Mit Uns” belt buckle. The belt is unit marked “J.R. 70”, for Infantry Regiment 70, a unit that was a part of the XXI Army Corps on the Western Front. A museum inventory number is written on the back of the buckle. The belt is approximately 38 inches long. The leather is somewhat dry and stiff but the belt is complete and intact.
