WWII German Stag Grip Dress Bayonet by Carl Eickhorn with Frog

The bayonet has an overall length in the scabbard of approximately 13-1/2 inches. The blade shows spots and scratches, but it is generally very bright. A leather washer is in place at the top of the blade. The ricasso bears the squirrel trademark of the firm of Carl Eickhorn. The stag grip plates are without chips or cracks and display a fine age toning. Both the guard and the pommel exhibit an uncleaned patina. A red wool insert is present in the rifle slot. The scabbard paint has scratches and abrasions but the paint is mostly intact. The leather frog has age crazing and it shows use but it is complete and intact. Overall very good condition.
