WWII Imperial Japanese Navy Engineering Captain Dress Tailed Coat

The dark blue wool frock coat exhibits signs of use and wear, with age toning of the bullion rank insignia and collar embroidery, but the coat is without holes, damage or repairs. The sleeves bear the rank insignia of a Navy Captain, piped in purple to reflect service in the engineering branch. There are no epaulettes. Across the upper left breast is a line of thread for the wear of a long medals bar. The interior silk lining has several holes and tears but it is largely intact. Overall very good condition.
