The exterior wool body of the cap exhibits some spots and surface soiling, as well as a small hole in the top surface on the edge. The cap body is without any stiffener in the crown. The single ply brown leather visor is quite pliable. The interior lining is intact, with the leather sweatband being present and bearing the “Flighter” brand designation of the Bancroft Company. The underside of the visor bears the initials “SEW”. Overall the cap exhibits very nice character and it makes a fine appearance.
