WWII German M40 Combat Helmet by Quist

The helmet retains much of its exterior painted finish, showing spots and scratches with some abrasions and areas of surface rust. The interior rear rim is marked “Q 66”, reflecting a size 66 helmet shell which was manufactured by the Quist firm. The interior liner is present, complete with the drawstring. The leather chin strap is in place across the front of the helmet. Overal very good field used condition.
