WWII Japanese Type 30 Arisaka Rifle Bayonet with “Star K” Maker Mark Under Nagoya Arsenal Supervision
$175.00
The bayonet has a bird head pommel and a straight quillon. The blued finish of the blade shows relatively minor wear, but the finish is largely intact, with the blade having indications of period sharpening on the forward cutting edge. The blade bears markings on the ricasso which reflect production by the as yet unknown maker which used the”Star K” mark, under Nagoya Arsenal Supervision. The guard and the pommel retain most all of their finish, with light wear. The slightly contoured wood grip plates show darkening with age but they are intact and without chips or damage. The pommel is numbered. The scabbard shows age to the finish with surface wear. Overall very good field used condition.
