The kepi is constructed with a red wool top and a burgundy velvet cap band. Both the top of the kepi and the upper circumference of the cap bear toned gold officer braid. The surface of the black leather visor shows typical age crazing. The top of the cap has several holes, with the cap otherwise exhibiting surface dust and soiling. The interior leather sweatband is present and it bears a retailer name. The interior of the crown retains a golden brown lining.
