1942 Dated British MK II Bayonet by the Ishapore Rifle Factory in India

The blued finish of the blade is largely intact, showing old dried grease or oil on both sides. The ricasso is marked with the date of November of 1942 together with the markings of Ishapore Rifle Factory in India together with the crown and the cypher of King George VI. The blued finish is similarly intact on the guard and on the pommel. The wood grip plates show age but they are without chips or cracks. There is a faint marking, including a broad arrow mark, on the upper scabbard fitting. The leather scabbard is somewhat dry, but it is complete and intact. Overall the bayonet is in very good condition.
