Single Decal Army M40 Combat Helmet by Quist

The model 1940 combat helmet displays an exterior of age toned army field gray paint which shows typical spots and scratches as well as some areas of light surface rust, but which remains approximately eighty percent intact. The single army eagle decal is also approximately eighty percent intact. The full leather liner is present on the interior, showing wear and use, but being intact and complete with the drawstring. The liner is marked as a size 55. The interior side of the helmet bears the mark of “Q 62”, reflecting a size 62 helmet shell that was manufactured by the Quist firm. The leather chin strap is missing. Overall the helmet is in very good field used condition.
