Imperial Hanover 13th Uhlan Regiment EM/NCO Tschapka
$2,150.00
The leather body of the Tschapka exhibits scratches and typical age crazing, with the Tschapka retaining a fine shape. The crazing is particularly noticeable on the front visor. The front wappen helmet plate is that of the Guard eagle and star, with honor bands for “Waterloo” and the “Peninsula” during the Napoleonic wars. The helmet plate is retained through two holes in the front of the helmet. The Tschapka bears a replacement leather chin strap as well as a replacement national colors cockade. The Tschapka retains the wool cockade as well as the black horsehair plume. The interior leather lining is intact. Overall the Tschapka is in very good condition, and it makes a fine appearance.
