The Model 1915 helmet is of steel construction, with the front displaying the Imperial Prussian helmet plate. The exterior exhibits spots and a dark and uncleaned patina, with the exterior helmet body displaying a film of surface light rust, but the helmet is without damage. The helmet lacks both the Prussian and the national colors cockades as well as the chin strap. The interior of the helmet is marked with the date of 1916, while the interior rim is marked as a size 53. The liner is present, showing age and wear but it is intact.
