Named Single Decal Luftwaffe M40 Combat Helmet by Eisenhuttenwerk

The model 1940 combat helmet displays an exterior of age toned Luftwaffe blue-gray paint which shows typical spots and scratches, but which remains approximately ninety percent intact. The single Luftwaffe eagle decal is also approximately ninety-five percent intact. The full leather liner is present on the interior, showing wear and use, but being intact and complete with the drawstring. The interior side of the helmet bears the mark of “ET 66”, reflecting a size 66 helmet shell that was manufactured by the firm of Eisenhuttenwerk. The leather chin strap is in place. The interior of the rear visor bears the painted name of “Hecket” above the number “1308”. Overall the helmet is in very good condition.
