Named and Signed WWII Japanese Personal Good Luck Flag

The artificial silk flag is approximately 28-1/2 inches by 37-1/2 inches, with two corners retaining fabric ties. The flag exhibits numerous statements and signatures, with the flag being named “To Mr. Yoshimasa Takahashi “. Also appearing on the flag are “Devoting oneself to the country”, signed by Hirowake Utagawa; and “Prayers for Eternal Good Fortune in Combat”, “Certain Victory”, and “Let us look forward to the day we meet again”, with multiple signatures. The flag shows spots and soiling but it makes a very good appearance.
