Cased Pair Civil War Brigadier General’s Epaulettes by Horstmann

The set of epaulettes shows minor wear and use, with some separations and holes in the red silk lining on the undersides, but the bullion remains bright and intact. The brass attachment brackets reflect that the epaulettes were made for the Horstmann firm of Philadelphia, with both epaulettes retaining their paper Horstmann tags. The top surfaces each bear a toned silver bullion rank star of a Brigadier General. The black tin case has scratches and abrasions. Overall very good condition.
