The blade of the dagger shows spots, smudges and sharpening abrasions but it is generally clean. The reverse side bears the RZM code of the firm of Arthur Schüttelhofer & Company. The leather washer is in place at the top of the blade. The black Bakelite grip plates are without chips or cracks. The obverse grip plate bears the enamel Hitler Youth diamond, which is without damage. The pommel exhibits wear to the plated surface in the area of the grip retention strap. There are chips and scratches to the scabbard paint. Overall very good condition.
