Third Reich Police Shako Eagle by Gustav Hermann

The large aluminum police eagle has a wingspan of approximately 6-1/4 inches. The shako plate shows excellent detail. Two screw posts are intact on the reverse – no nuts. The shako plate was obviously never placed on a shako as it remains uncurved in shape. The reverse bears the mark of “GHO”, reflecting production by the firm of Gustav Hermann of Osang. Excellent condition.
