The silk belt is approximately 7-1/4 inches wide by 34 inches long. The belt is without ties, and it bears a printed tiger as well as printed Japanese flags and kanji for the declaration of “Eternal Good fortune in Combat”. The tiger is formed from 1,000 printed dots onto which knots, or stitches, would have been placed to create the good luck belt. The belt exhibits some spots but it is without damage.
