WWI German Carved Patriotic Frame

The carved wooden frame has overall dimensions of approximately 9-1/2 inches by 12-1/4 inches. The center opening for the photograph is approximately 3-7/8 inches by 6-1/8 inches. The top of the frame has the carvings of “1914” and “1916”, between which is the designation of “Ost Ende” (Eastern Front) with an Iron Cross. At the base of the frame is the declaration of “Gott Mit Uns”. The frame shows minor scrapes and scratches, but overall it is in very good condition.
