The badge is of stamped gilt brass featuring the Bavarian royal crown, a sword, and a shield with the traditional Bavarian blue and white design. The ribbon is inscribed with “Mitgliedschaft des B. V. K. & K. Bez.” indicating membership in the district’s veteran and warrior association branch, and the designation of “Kampfgenossen-Verein Brünst & Umgebung“ (Comrades-in-Arms Association of Brünst and surrounding area). The reverse is maker marked. The badge shows age but it is in very good condition.
