The Chinese Army officer dagger is in standard construction, with a steel scabbard with brass fittings decorated with traditional plum blossom motifs. The dagger has an imitation tortoise shell grip which is similarly decorated with relief brass ornamentation. The grip is without chips or cracks, while the fittings exhibit a dark and uncleaned patina. The blade is matte steel with spots and surface grime. The scabbard shows minor indentations. Overall very good condition.
