The blue wool top visor cap shows a few spots and surface dust, but it is without holes, damage or repairs. The surface of the visor is embroidered with bright gold bullion oak leaves. The front peak has a screw back eagle, globe and anchor insignia which is marked with the Hilborn Hamburger star, together with the mark of “Ser. 203” and “1/20 10 K”, with the insignia showing a bright finish. The interior leather sweatband is present over a basket weave construction frame, with some loss of stitching of the sweatband. Beneath the sweatband is a size tag of 7-1/8. The interior celluloid sweat shield is intact, with a retailer name beneath it. The cap band section of the cap is somewhat misshapen. Overall very good condition.
