The field gray wool mutze has a blue cap band and blue piping, with the front displaying the Imperial Bavarian and national colors cockades, the latter showing wear to the paint. The mutze shows age and some spots, but otherwise the mutze is quite clean and it is in overall very good condition. The interior bears the date stamp of 1912, and the unit stamp of the first Bavarian train battalion.
