WWI British Model 1916 Soft Trench Cap

Constructed of olive brown wool, the soft body service cap was introduced in 1916, and it became known as the British “Trench Cap”, although it was officially designated as the “Service Dress Cap”.  Overall excellent condition, with interior signs of use and wear but with the cap exterior remaining quite clean and without distracting holes or stains.
