The decoration is on a split brooch suspension and the arm of the star is numbered “1337”. The reverse is officially hand engraved “Harold S. Paris”. The reverse side of the suspension is marked “BBBCo. Phila.”. The decoration shows uncleaned patina and it is in excellent condition. Accompanying the medal are copies of his obituary and Veterans Comensation Application stating his unit as “Co E, 315th Infantry 79th Division” and his rank as Sergeant,
