Imperial Prussian EM/NCO Ersatz Felt Picklehaube

The exterior surfaces of the pressed felt helmet show typical soiling and spots, but the helmet is without damage and it exhibits a fine shape. The metal front visor edge, the Prussian eagle wappen front plate, the spike, the spike base, and the rear spine all show a matte gray appearance with uncleaned patina, and with the spike itself showing wear to the field gray finish. The front plate is retained through two holes in the front of the helmet. The helmet retains the Prussian and the national colors cockades. The leather chin strap appears to be a replacement. The interior lacks any liner and it exhibits wear. The interior rear visor has an indistinct depot stamp as well as what appears to be a not entirely legible name. Overall very good condition.
