Imperial Prussian Grenadier NCO Pickelhaube

The leather helmet shows age crazing across all surfaces, together with a few scuffs, but the helmet retains a good shape. The Imperial Prussian Grenadier front plate is retained through two holes in the front of the helmet. The brass front edge of the visor, the wappen front plate, the spike, the spike base, and the rear spine all show an uncleaned patina. The helmet displays Prussian and national colors officer cockades. A brass “fish scale”chin strap is present. The full silk liner is intact on the interior, together with the leather sweatband. Overall the helmet is in good condition and it makes a fine appearance.
