German WWI Model 1916 Stielhandgranate Stick Grenade Dug at the Ypres Battlefield

The “large can” style grenade has an overall length of approximately 13 inches. The grenade is in dug condition, with the metal canister and belt hook showing rust, and with the canister having holes. The metal end cap has similarly deteriorated, but it is largely intact. Overall the grenade is in very good ground dug condition.
