The blade of the shovel shows typical signs of field use, with spots and some pitting. Both the blade and the leather carrying cover are manufacturer marked and dated 1915. The wood grip of the shovel is also dated 1915. The grip exhibits signs of use but it is without damage. Overall very good field used condition.
